Grace Bay Beach

Grace Bay Beach is an award-winning, world-famous beach gaining press across travel sites and social media feeds. So what is it about Grace Bay that’s so special? In this blog post, we’ll go over Provo’s most popular beaches.

Grace Bay is the longest beach on the island, spanning about 12 miles along the North Shore. These 12 miles of powder-white, soft sands offer some of the calmest, clearest, most turquoise waters in the world. Almost all of the hotels and resorts are located along this beach, as well as private villas, restaurants, bars, the island’s marina, tour operators, and the best snorkeling at Smith’s Reef.

Grace Bay Beach may steal a lot of the thunder, but Providenciales is framed with stunning beaches on all sides!

Long Bay Beach

This secluded and entirely residential beach is perfect for those seeking added privacy. While it’s always been home to some of the island’s largest and most beautiful villas, avid kite-surfers, and windsurfers, it’s also just one of the most paradisiacal beaches in the world.  Long Bay Beach is located on the southeastern shore of the island -about a 10 minute drive from Grace Bay Beach.

Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay

Well, these are my personal favorites, in full disclosure.  Both are on the southwest part of the island, somewhat “away” from it all.  In fact, this area only has one restaurant, so it’s anything but commercial.  These small bays, both between a third and a half a mile long, offer unbelievably beautiful sunsets paired with perfect sand and water. Both of these beaches offer very shallow water, making them a perfect choice for young children or for adults to simply bask in the shallow waters.
