A unique family adventure can be found in Turtle Cove, within walking distance from all our villas on Grace Bay Beach, aboard the Undersea Explorer. This semi-submersible vessel seats guests 5 feet below the waves and cruises through a magical underwater world. The vessel was originally developed in Australia for viewing the Great Barrier Reef and now is used in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, around Smith’s Reef.
The vessel’s crew offers two distinct tours: the Mermaid Adventure and the Turtle Reef Adventure. The tours run around 45 minutes and the vessel departs on the hour, granted at least 6 fresh visitors join. The colorful coral, fish, and mermaid are a delight to children and adults alike, and the knowledgeable crew is happy to answer questions and point out sea life and coral types.
The air-conditioned cabin can seat up to 16 passengers, and we suggest taking lots of pictures!
