Turks & Caicos, as we all know by now, offers a paradisiacal array of all things tropical. From its world-class (nearly private) beaches, jaw-dropping luxury villas, to hues of blue that’ll make you question reality, it’s easy to see why people want to visit. Having said that, only reptiles can survive on 350 days of sunlight alone -so, where do we eat?
In this blog, based on our own experience, we’ll talk about some of the best places to eat when visiting Providenciales.
Da Conch Shack
The reasons for visiting TCI, much like its waters, are crystal clear –Da Conch Shack accentuates all of them! This lovely beachside restaurant, located on the north shore of Providenciales offers great food & service, but the (tropical) ambiance is second to none. Sitting right by the beach and amongst the waving palm trees certainly added a great deal to the experience. Their specialty is, of course, conch -so, leaving this place without trying the Conch Fritters should be illegal! Local fishermen catch grouper, snapper, and lobster (when in season) for a seafood menu that feels complete. Fresh is the name of the game.
Shark Bite Bar & Grill
Conveniently located on the Turtle Cove Marina, Shark Bite features great tasting American style bar food with American rates to match. We were a group of 5 sitting on the outside deck, overlooking the marina. We had salads, burgers, fish, cocktails, and beer. Yum! A few things stood out to us. It was the most affordable place out of the bunch, and the burgers were out of control (in the best way possible!). Needless to say, 100% of our group left the place completely satisfied.

Las Brisas Restaurant
Set on the stunning Chalk Sound lagoon, Las Brisas was immediately one of the most visually appealing places we’d seen on the island. The incredible views of Chalk Sound and breezy atmosphere were only matched by the friendliness of the staff. We were a fairly large group and, even though we didn’t eat anything, we had some delicious cocktails at 11 am -when in Rome. After soaking in the immense beauty of the surroundings and finishing our drinks, we caught a family hopping on kayaks and looking to have fun. We realized then, Las Brisas isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a one-stop shop for anyone looking to fully enjoy Chalk Sound. They offer kayaks for a day of adventures and they even have a docked boat ready to take you for a ride!

Lemon2Go Coffee
In contrast to the restaurants mentioned above, Lemon2Go only serves light breakfast. However, there are a number of reasons to feature them on this list. They not only have the nicest, friendliest staff we had the pleasure to meet, but their coffee (iced, hot, lattes, etc) was some of the best…ever! Towards the end of our trip, this place had cemented itself as the perfect spot to start your day in Provo. It being located close to the north shore means it’s close enough to most of our villas, so taking a leisurely bike ride there and back can be a great way to start your day!
