Since the airport’s reopening in August 2020, we have welcomed thousands of happy families to our beautiful Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. Among these guests was our very own CEO, Dan Kasal, who took the time to record his process from start to finish. In this blog post, we’ll go over the process that gets you to paradise!

TCI Assured Certification
Instead of closing its borders to American travelers, Turks & Caicos have implemented a series of entry requirements and regulations in order to reduce the risk of infection/spread whilst being permissive of tourism -win-win! What you’ll need:
Negative COVID Test: A negative PCR test taken within 5 days of arrival. TCI Safe offers a great alternative through government-endorsed testing with a guaranteed turnaround of 48 hours. Alternatively, any local accredited lab will suffice.
Medical Insurance: Insurance that covers medevac and hospitalization. TCI Safe also offers government-endorsed insurance for about $60 per person.Negative COVID (rapid/antigen) Test: For your departure, you will also need a negative COVID test taken within 3 days of departure. This can be a rapid or antigen test. You can find more info on where to get tested on island through this link.

Flight & Arrival
From the moment you step on the plane to TCI, you and everyone on board will have proof of health in the form of the TCI Assured certification. Along with the use of a mask and the practice of safe distancing, everyone on board should enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that all possible precautions are being enforced.
Experience on island
Even though there is a curfew in place which requires all businesses to close by 10:00 pm, the experience on island is still a great one. With plenty of options for fun things to do, places to eat, food delivery services, tour operators, and of course the world’s most sought-after beaches -paradise remains a paradise. We expect this to change at some point in the near future.
Fun Things To Do
Most of our favorite businesses and tour operators remain fully operational whilst abiding by the new regulations. It’s important to note that all businesses currently operating must go through an extensive process in order to be TCI Assured (certified to operate during COVID). On island, you’ll find tour operators offering the following services:
