The Turks and Caicos Kite Flying Competition is an annual event held on Easter Monday on the beach at the Children’s Park in the Lower Bight Beach Park on Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. Scheduled for Monday, April 22nd, 2019 -this event is a fun time for children and adults to enjoy the Caribbean breeze!
Located on the Northwest Shore of Grace Bay Beach, The Bight Park is the location for many island events including the weekly Thursday night fish fry. The venue offers a beautiful stretch of Grace Bay Beach with lots of sand. Be sure to take in the sunset here on this glorious stretch of beach! There are also public restrooms, a stage, and vendor booths. Seating is limited so we recommend bringing beach chairs if you think you’ll want to sit!
No kite, no worries!
There are plenty of other fun activities for the family. Everyone is welcome to participate in activities including an Easter Egg Hunt and games like Egg & Spoon, Tug-O-War and Sack Races.

With many food and drink vendors, tourists will have the opportunity to taste the delicious local cuisine. Be sure to try conch fritters, fried Snapper, fried Grouper, jerk chicken, and peas and rice. Cold drinks will also be available. Live music and a DJ will provide entertainment, so bring your dancing sandals!
