3 Reasons to Book a Turks & Caicos Girlfriend Getaway
In our busy lives, the most meaningful gift we can give our friends is time. What better time to foster close friendships than vacation time on a white sandy beach? A great way to spend an afternoon of your vacation is donating a little of your time to a local charity! If you’re a dog lover, a great option is Potcake Place, a wonderful local charity that seeks “To reduce the number of homeless potcakes on the island.” A potcake is a local dog to Turks and Caicos. As is common in many Caribbean islands, local dog populations can get out of hand with negligent spaying and neutering. Potcake Place needs volunteers to socialize puppies. You can drop by and take a puppy to the beach for some fun playing and cuddling. The center takes donations to help support their efforts. Another way to help is to coordinate your return trip home with an adoption; you could help take a puppy to a loving family in your home city!
We all need some time away from the kids, both for ourselves and to nurture our close friendships. As we’ve gotten married, had kids, pursued our careers, it’s gotten harder to meet up with those once-best friends along the way. That being said, if you care then you’ll put in the effort! Simple as that. A rejuvenating girls trip can do wonders for our emotional health and we sure could use it sometimes.
