Getting Back on our feet!!

The strength and unity that our community on Providenciales has shown is unlike anything I have ever experienced. We have made unbelievable progress in the week since the passage of the storm, a storm which has caused unprecedented damage to our Caribbean neighbors as well as the US mainland.

I am very happy to report that the airport resumed commercial flight service Monday. Power and water service workers have been working around the clock at a record pace and power and water has already been restored on large portions of the island. Our wireless companies have made great progress in restoring voice and data services. Some shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and most importantly the Wine Cellar have resumed operations. Many more restaurants are opening tonight and tomorrow.

The unbelievable beauty of our beaches (consistently named in the top 2 in the world) pale in comparison the beauty of our amazing, strong, unified, and resilient community!!! We are stronger than Irma!!!!

Many have asked how they can help support the community. Several of our team members on island have suffered loss of their homes and personal belongings. These are our dedicated and hard working friends who, selflessly worked tirelessly to assist guests we had on island who were unable to get off the island, helped to secure their rental properties, so that they could suffer less damage, delivered necessities to guests who needed them, all the while, knowing that their own houses were not as secure as these. We see once again, in times of challenge, the best in people shows. We are so proud to work with these wonderful people. We will soon post information on how you help these families and others get back on their feet.
