1) Snorkeling:
The island of Providenciales boasts a beautiful coral reef system on its northern coast called Smith’s Reef. The sea life includes corals, exotic fish, sea turtles, dolphins, and many other critters. Though snorkeling gear is available for rent, we suggest bringing your own; a well-fitted set of goggles is a must to see the reef!

2) Star-Gazing:
The lack of ambient light on the small island of Providenciales offers some of the best star-gazing around. Turks and Caicos’ proximity to the equator in the Tropic of Cancer makes for a bright view of objects in the celestial equator: the constellations of Aquarius, Canis Minor, and Eridanus are particularly enchanting. 3) Sailing:
The strong trade winds around Provo make for exciting sailing, and Sun Charters provides sunset sailing. Who wouldn’t want to witness the famous Green Flash?

4) Beach Horseback Riding:
Whether you plan on a romantic horseback outing with your significant other, or a memorable outing with the kids, Provo Ponies will work with riding novices or experts!
5) Pirate Carvings:
Make sure to bring sneakers for a hike up Sapodilla Hill to see carvings made by swash-buckling pirates hundreds of years ago!

6) Crack a Conch:

The coral reef system surrounding Provo is a huge draw for Scuba divers from all over the world. Dive Provo and Provo Turtle Divers are both great and offer classes for beginners.

8) Glow Worm Tour:
Would you like to see the sea light up at night like the night sky? You can for 2-3 nights a month following a full moon. See our blog for more details.
9) Kayaking/Paddle Boarding:
Kayaking and paddle boarding are a great way to see the coral reef and cover more distance. We suggest checking out Thompson Cove for more sea turtle action! You can rent kayaks, paddle boards, and other equipment from Big Blue.
